MAKE A WISH
is a collective art project that invites people to
share their ambitions in 2013 on the project website, and be
reminded of their promises by receiving a hand-made pinback
button, printed with their own manifests.

As we are approaching the end of 2012, it is time to think about what we want to do in 2013! Oftentimes, we only keep our wishes to ourselves or share them online. After a period of time, these words were just left unfullfilled and forgotten on the internet.
MAKE A WISH invites people to share their wishes, and like others’ wishes as a way to support each other. By bringing their words from the virtual world to a physical presence, the hand-made pinback buttons that printed with their own manifests will remind people of their promises, and
encourage us to stand behind our own words.
I believe the very first step to success is to share your ideas with a broader audience, which can give you a little push when you were tempted to slack. Share yours today, and take part in this seasonal collective art project!
Part of the project include a 36" x 60" textile work, made out of hand-knitted fabric with text "Make A Wish After End of the World" felted by wool. Pin-back buttons were made with wishes collected from the project website, and pinned on the work.
