Cumulus, 2011-12
When I was in college, I spent enormous amount of time studying in the basement computer lab. Looking at the sky not only relieved my tired body, but also filled my mind with hope and knowing a bright new day was yet to come. Through this series of photographs, I want to share this experience with the viewers, and show them the beauty of the sky.
These photographs were taken with Diana camera on instant films. The Diana camera is a simply constructed plastic bodied box camera that lack of in-camera processor that offered in digital camera. I use the camera with instant films to limit the post-processing of the resulting image, to reflect the spontaneity of the action of looking at the sky.
